Family History

Standard

Back in May, when I was in Utah, I helped my Dad sort through his Mother’s pictures to distribute them to each of his siblings.  We had a stack of photos that had multiple families in it, and decided that I would bring them home, scan them in, and email them to all the families.

I don’t recall getting together with cousins a whole ton growing up, but I do know all of them, and try to keep up with them in some way.  I love my family.  That’s me, with the white shirt on.  I still don’t like wearing a bathing suite and I still get red under my eyes when I’m out in the sun.

That’s me in the middle.  On the right, is the same cousin you’ve been seeing on this blog; you know, the one who now lives in WI.  Did I ever mention that we’re only 6 months apart in age?  We have a lot of fun together.

On my 101 in 1001 list I have to scan some of my old travel photos.  Scanning really doesn’t take all that long, I should really get started on that project.  It’s been a lot of fun going through old pictures and seeing my cousins as I remember them.  It really makes me want to have a family reunion.  Aunts, Uncles and cousins.  I miss them.  I wish I lived closer so I could go visit; they are such wonderful people and I’m proud to be their family.
